You can you the same method for tabletops, frames, floors.....just about anything!! I have added some metal finding to the frames to spark your imagination!

I have chosen a beginner's course to be my the first tutorial. Whether you are a newcomer to mosaic, or just to this technique, I would be thrilled to be the one to introduce you to this amazing art form. Mosaic has enhanced my life in so many ways and I hope you will have the same experience!

You will make a one-of-kind mosaic frame based on the fantasy and imagination that earned Antoni Gaudi the title of "the most famous architect of Spain and possibly the world." Gaudí's work inspired my very first 'broken tile' mosaic, called Trencadis in Spain. His use of broken tile, marble and glass to cover his incredible buildings, churches and parks is the inspiration for this project.

You will learn 3 ways to cut, break and score clay and ceramic tiles, how to use tile adhesive, how to create harmonious grout lines and learn grouting techniques, including tinting your grout. In addition, you will learn how to apply metal or other unique embellishments to your finished frame to give it drama and excitement!

Included with your life-time video are printable PDFs with a full list of all the tools and materials you will need to complete this project and where you can get them, as well as step-by-step instructions that follow my video lesson.

In addition you will receive six bonus PDFs: 3 pages on the "History of Antoni Gaudi" , a one page "Guide to Planning Your Studio", 3 pages of "Finding Your Mosaic Style", seven pages on "Your Mosaic Toolbox", 3 pages of "Materials, Surfaces & Adhesives for Mosaic" and 2 pages on "Mosaic Grouting Basics", a compilation of handouts written by me for my students over the last 24 years.

Most of all, I will be with you every step of the way – you can contact me before, during and after you begin the course with any questions or comments. You will also have exclusive access to our closed Facebook group, Mosaic Made Easy Alumni, where you can share ideas and tips with other students, show your project or ask questions.

My favorite quote about teaching is by Einstein: "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." I can teach almost anything mosaic related but it is your imagination that will make your art unique. Let's tap it here!

My goal for each course is to ensure you have the necessary building blocks for a great mosaic while inspiring you to discover and uncover your distinctive creativity. As a self-taught artist I learned through discovery, experimentation and trial-and-error. Many of my techniques may not be found in any book but you will learn them here.

Aside from making your course easy to follow, my mission is to make sure you have fun doing it!
